International Lake of the Woods Basin Water Quality Plan of Study

The International Lake of the Woods Basin Water Quality Plan of Study is available for review and comment for a 30-day period, from November 12 to December 11, 2014. The International Joint Commission (IJC) wants to hear from us and others covered in the plan before submitting its recommendations to the Governments of Canada and the United States. This Plan comes as a result of a period of public meetings, including one attended by many WICOLA members and Ely area residents at VCC in August. Please review the Plan and offer your comments as a WICOLA member to ensure the continued focus on prevention and preservation of our clean waters.
